iRedMail

Purpose

Integrated installer for a self-hosted SMTP/IMAP/webmail and anti-spam mail stack.

Use Cases

On-prem email, multi-domain mail, webmail and controlled enterprise mail hosting.

Field Notes

Do not use residential/dynamic IP. Confirm PTR and outbound SMTP policy. Monitor queues, reputation, blacklists and abuse.

Hardware Requirements

Dedicated clean server/static public IP, PTR, MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, TLS, sufficient mail storage/IOPS and 24×7 monitoring.

Backup Strategy

Mailboxes, SQL/LDAP, mail/filter configs, DKIM keys, TLS, aliases, sieve and admin data.

Recovery Strategy

Rebuild matching stack, restore identity/config/keys then mailboxes; validate DNS/TLS and mail flow.

Secure Boot Notes
