DIUN
Purpose
Notification-only detection of container image changes
Decision Summary
Desk verification complete; CSI lab and internal pilot required before client production approval.
Field Notes
Authoritative official documentation reference normalized on 2026-08-04. Existing CSI classification and field evidence retained.
Backup Strategy
Back up DIUN configuration, database, provider labels, notification templates and encrypted credential references. Do not store plaintext secrets in the backup set.
Recovery Strategy
Stop DIUN, revoke registry/notification credentials if compromised, restore its configuration/database and restart in test mode. DIUN failure does not require application rollback because it must not modify workloads.
